Steampunk Top Hat

This model is based off of a hat I bought at the Renaissance festival a few years ago. I wanted to try making some type of clothing item. I had a really tough time trying to figure out how to make the fabric on the hat piece. The actual hat is really fuzzy but I wasn't able to figure out how to create that effect, so I just went for this velvet-ish type of fabric and I think it looks pretty nice.
